The one and only.

Back from Disneyland.

It was well worth the planning and money (We did get a fantastic deal though).
I'm so glad we went.
Left Leila home. Much needed one on one time with D. We didn't have a honeymoon since I was 8 months pregnant when we got married (oops), so this was basically it. It was nice to relax, and hang out at one of my favorite places in the entire world with my best friend.
Not only that, it was good bonding time with my brother Robby, and his girlfriend Britaney. They're awesome. I really do love them, and I'm blessed to have a sibling I don't fight with. It was their 3 year anniversary, so we went off and did our own thing, then regrouped to do some rides later.

Opinions/Experiences formed on this trip:

*When pregnant, don't ride Indy. Just... not such a good idea. Splash Mountain is more than fine.

*ESPN Zone has the BEST chicken queso chips. Ever. Hands down. I downloaded the recipe when we got home. Also, if you order these, don't be fooled by the fact its listed as an "appetizer". Its way more than enough food for 2 people to share. Everything on their menu is.

*Making preferred seating arrangements for Blue Bayou and Carnation Cafe are worth it. Never eaten at either before this trip. Carnation Cafe was wonderful for lunch, (I've heard their breakfast is great too) and it's one of the more reasonably priced eateries in the park. D had the loaded baked potato soup which was, to die for! And I had a Cafe Steak melt which was very good.

*Blue Bayou is pretty pricey, but D and I shared our meal (Tesoro Island Chicken
Roasted and finished to perfection in pan au jus. With Blue Bayou potatoes and seasonal vegetables) which comes with a fantastic salad, and we got a piece of chocolate mousse cake to share, and were totally stuffed. It's about 20-30$ a person. I recommend sharing.

*We stayed at the Motel 6 Anaheim Maingate. It might not be appealing from outside, but the rooms are newly refurbished, and the only issue we had was our room smelling like smoke even though we requested "non-smoking". If you're spending all your time in the park, the hotel isn't a big deal. Also, its withing walking distance. The walk wasn't horrible, so we didn't pay to use the shuttle at all.

*Go to Disneyland the last 2 weeks of April. You'll miss the spring break crowd, and it makes everything so much easier. When the weekend hits, the park gets more busy, but it's not awful. We went close to Halloween last time, and it was 60 minute waits for rides. The worst this time was 45.

*Market House on the right hand side of Main Street is the only place in Disneyland that sells special Disney Brew coffee. If you keep your receipt, you get free refills all day. Do it. It's delish.

I don't know what else to say, except I can't wait to go back. We've joked about going back right before my due date (If you deliver in the park, your baby gets a free life time pass!) but I don't think its worth the risk :)

Talking baby, I can't wait to have her. It's not even a "I'm so over being pregnant" issue, I just want to see her, and hold her. It's a completely different experience from feeling them moving around and growing in you.

God is good, the church is moving in a few months... I'm totally good with it. I still don't know what we're doing when the baby is born. We'll see!

Neeed to

I haven't blogged in a while.

Disneyland is in 5 days (the way Binnie and I are counting)! I absolutely cannot wait! It's been about 4 years, so I'm due for a fix. PLUS it's the only time D and I have been out of town without Leila besides beach camp. We didn't have a honeymoon... So...This counts. And I love that my bro and his lady are going because they're fantastic, and D can ride some of the rides I can't that way.

Speaking of...
D is gone all this weekend at Men's Advance so it'll be a ladies hang out weekend! Psyched about that, even though I'll miss him ♥

We're thinking Hailey Eden as a name... I was totally against it at first, but Hailey also means "Hero" and the way it came about was kinda crazy... We'll see. I want to try to work Eden as a first name, but I can't think of anything middle names wise I like enough to go with it. Either way, she hardcore dances in my tummy (hilarious) and I love to feel her move. Whatever her name may be :)

Little bloggy things.

Today is Easter, for which I am thankful. Jesus is alive and amazing and I'm happy.

Moving on to the mommy matters at hand:
I need to start gaining more weight, and working out as a pregnant lady. I know that sounds like I'm doing the exact opposite things, but they technically can go hand in hand.
My legs are jacked. I've only danced twice with this baby, and the second time I almost couldn't get back up. That's not o.k.
Part 2 is, I feel like I'm not big enough to be 21-22 weeks pregnant. I'm not down with getting the "You don't even look pregnant" comments. Word to the wise: That means whoever you're telling it to just looks like they're getting fat. So sometimes you should just say "You look great for being (however far along they are)"

Talking about baby girl #2:
We have no names. I hear names that I love for everyone else's kids, but not for ours. I love the name Avery. Particularly Avery Jade. D however, thinks Avery is a dude's name. I also like Madelynn or Maddy. D doesn't. He prefers Hailey, which is o.k. but I haaate that it doesn't mean anything but "hay field". Mom is pulling for Sophia, but I think that's out. If this baby was a boy, he would have been named the day we found out!
But I'm glad she is a she.
I'll have my 2 girls, and that makes my heart happy. ♥
