Oh Simple Woman's Day Book

For today
Outside my window- Shiney sun, leaves falling off the tree onto our balcony, and the Christmas lights I put up (ghetto).

I am thinking- That I should be getting ready to go to dinner for Dezi's birthday...

I am thankful for- My amazing mother who brought her Dyson vaccuum and steam cleaner to my house today (her last day off) and cleaned my whole house.

I am remembering- Being pregnant with Hailey again, at least, finding out about it. Insaaaane!

On my mind- Our next Disneyland trip! January 15th-17th... and the fact that I still need someone to take Hailey for a day and a half. lol

I am noticing that- I need to shower... hahaha

Pondering these words:
Grace.

From the learning rooms- Learning to clean my house better!

From the kitchen- Not a thing!

I am wearing- An old maternity tank top, holey jeans, and no shoes. Cleaning gear.

I am creating- Nothing right now.

I am going- To Red Robin tonight. Hollaaaaa! Friiiiies!

I am reading- Take a wild guess...

I am hoping- To stay motivated.

I am hearing- The dryer, and Monsters Inc. on the television.

Around the house- SO CLEAN! Minus the Chic-Fil-A cup on the table.

One of my favorite things- How good it feels to have a clean house. I know, I'm obsessing.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Tonight: Red Robin, Tomorrow: Hailey's first day at daycare, work, and BLISS, Wednesday: Youth, Thursday: Nothing, Friday: Nothing, Saturday, Nothing, Sunday: Church! Wow. A mellow week!!! I forgot what that looked like.

50 FREE Christmas Cards for Bloggers!

Sooo my awesome friend Tiffany Reese just let me know about this awesome promotion from Shutterfly! So I thought I'd share with you all!
We haven't gotten Christmas cards since Leila was born because they are pretty expensive, but Shutterfly is very reasonable! Check it out! I think I'm going to use this site for all my announcements and invites from now on. I think you'd be crazy not to! Also, having two kids makes it a little harder to go out and shop for Christmas presents, so I'm using Shutterfly this year! I mean, what grandparent wouldn't want to have an awesome mug with their grandkid's faces on it? Or an awesome Personalized wall calendar? I'm excited to get my free cards because their layouts are super cute and easy to use! Check them out here! It'll be awesome to send out cards with pictures of my little ladies for everyone to enjoy! Join me in this awesome FREE opportunity! I know this post was a little cheesy, but I want you all to be able to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!

Heeeere's the thing...

OK! Here's that post I was promising:

Last week was a little crazy.
We found out Wednesday of last week that we needed to be completely off the old church property by Friday.
YIKES!
So we packed and moved EVERYTHING that was left (the ENTIRE contents of the office, etc.) over to Roseville.

That's basically it.

Moving on..
Thanksgiving is in 2 days. WOOOOO!
I was supposed to make a pie with my mom aaand that didn't happen.
My plan is to help mom cook Thanksgiving day, and on Friday: clean the sweet baby bajeesus out of my house.

We'll see how that goes.
I've got crafty things I want to do, but I feel like I have no time to or no money to do it with.

I love my job... But some days I wish I was a S.A.H.M.

That's it. Peace!

Simple Woman's Day Book. I think I'm a week behind...

I was literally laying awake just now and realized I hadn't done this... this week has been insane
Post to follow.

For today
Outside my window- It's cold and rainy. It has been boarderline ridiculous the last 3 days. The little nature preserve or whatev behind our apartments is totally flooded like a river... It's kind of amazing.

I am thinking- Seeing "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1" tomorrow night. BOOM.

I am thankful for- Having an amazing family and amazing friends. This week in particular, I'm thankful for having such an awesome relationship with my brother Robby, and I'm thankful he has an amazing girlfriend (Britany). Love.

I am remembering- Being pregnant with Hailey and blogging at this time of the morning... I was watching Julie and Julia and all we had to eat was toast. Sick.

On my mind- My girls, as usual. We've been fighting with Leila to stay in her bed. D won after she got up 2 times last night... It usually takes me 10 when he's not here. Wondering what I'm doing wrong??

I am noticing that- I should be sleeping since my kids are...

Pondering these words:
"Love came down and rescued me, Love came down and set me free. I am Yours, I'm forever Yours..." (Not pondering so much as they're on repeat in my mind right now.)

From the learning rooms- Nothing this week.

From the kitchen- It's messy. Mac n Cheese for dinner.

I am wearing- Band shirt I found at the Club and leggings.

I am creating- Nothing right now.

I am going- To see my grandma today before Harry Potter. She's having surgery on Wednesday so she won't be able to be at Thanksgiving which makes me sad, but she really wants to see the girls before. I love her.

I am reading- I'm bad. I haven't had reading time.

I am hoping- Things calm down this week... *HA!*

I am hearing- The heater.

Around the house- Not as bad as usual. I am sitting in the dark, but I know there's a baby blanket and a PS3 remote next to me.

One of my favorite things- Tammi's answer reminded me of one of mine haha. When we pick up Leila from the nursery or daycare and she yells "DADDY! MY DADDY!" and runs to D. Sooooo cute!

A few plans for the rest of the week:Visiting Grandma, Harry Potter with some good friends tonight, Tuesday/Wednesday:The chaos that is my job, Thursday:Helping my mom cook dinner! Friday: Not a darn thing.

Not sure why D chose that particular filter, but I love this, even if Hailey isn't looking.

Thank you thank you thank you!

It kind of works out that I feel so thankful today, and that Thanksgiving is in a week, so today is the day I will do a "What I'm thankful for" post.
I wasn't planning on doing one, but my heart is overflowing today.

I am thankful...
♥ That God has blessed me with an AMAZING husband, who is encouraging, loving, hillarious, my best friend and without a doubt, the love of my life... and for my two amazing, healthy little girls.
♥ That I have amazing, loving parents who would do anything for me.
♥ That God has blessed us with an AMAZING church family, and a GORGEOUS new property. Whether it's finished or not, I love it. I cannot wait to be there and completely out of Orangevale.
♥ For my amazing friends who encourage, and push me to be a better person... who I can let loose with and just be myself with.
♥ For the job God has given me... It can be stressful, but I get to work with the people I love, and help make the ministries of The Family Church of Sacramento possible.
♥ For our amazing youth group, youth leaders, and youth Pastors. They are the best, and I mean that. I'm so proud to be able to speak into them, laugh with them, and just be a part of the coolest youth group in the world.
♥ I'm thankful God has put Jaime and Estora as the Youth pastors. In case you're reading this...You guys are THE BEST. You're raising up a group of well rounded, amazing, hillarious warriors, and it's an honor to serve you.

This weeks:

FOR TODAY
Outside my window- Hazel Ave, again. Sun shining... Lots and lots of traffic.

I am thinking- Too much, and I'd rather not talk about it... If that's o.k.

I am thankful for- My husband (did I pick him last week?), who is my perfect polar opposite when I need him to be (like when I stop being optimistic.)

I am remembering- Leila before she could talk as well as she does now... or walk... my baby!

On my mind- Wouldn't this count as the "I am thinking"? No? Then, Leila is on my mind. And the fact that I just noticed I'm being very short today.

Noticing that- Hailey is huge in the best way possible. I'm so glad she's a healthy little bean.

Pondering these words: Trust Me.

From the learning rooms- I'm going to learn how to make awesome headbands with big flowers and bows for my girls. I love them (my girls I mean). Maybe tutus too.

From the kitchen- Chicken tacos are begging to be made today.

I am wearing- Jeans (my one nice pair), my brown boots, and my brother's Berkley hoodie. It's my favorite.

I am creating- Nothing at the moment, but like I said, I want to make the headbands... And pies.

I am going- To dance my heart out at youth tonight to Nsync's "I want you back". Should be interesting...

I am reading- Still nothing minus "Brown bear brown bear what do you see?"

I am hoping- For the best. For my girls to be healthy and strong and live long, full lives.

I am hearing- Hailey grunting, Abi and Auston talking in the office down the hall.

Around the house- clothes, shoes, etc.

One of my favorite things- Hearing Leila sing, and how excited she gets when "You've got a Friend in Me" comes on Pandora. She's beautiful.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Youth tonight, Tacos tomorrow night, Friday night mall walk with the Hammer, Saturday Tropicana Practice, Sunday Tropicana.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
My sweet Leila. She's an ornery little thing but I love her to pieces. She's my little angel.

Stealing ideas is fun.

Hijacked an idea from my friend Tammi... I'm going to participate int the once a week. Here we go:

For today:
Outside my window- Is Hazel Avenue. Not super duper busy yet, but it shouldn't be long. It's almost 4.
I am thinking- Christmas, and the possibility of our mini Disneyland trip.
I am thankful for- My amazing husband and family (biological or not) they're all fantastic.
From the kitchen- It's probably smelling like broccoli. I'm at work right now and I made broccoli to go in Leila's lunch.
I am wearing- Jeans, loose white top, 2 tank tops under that and mah-flippay floppays.
I am creating- I just created a funeral program for a man from our church. It's weird that I'm starting to become a pro at it. Idk if I like that...
I am going- to go pick up my big girl, Estora + her kiddos after work.
I am reading- A lot of blogs lately... Not so many books.
I am hoping- for breakthrough. Lots of it.
I am hearing- Eric talking about "Tall skinny Matt" while he uses the printer... now he's threatening Auston's life.
Around the house- Tons of baby clothes, blankets, aaaand papers.
One of my favorite things- Hailey smiling when Leila talks to her... or Leila being so polite!
A few plans for the rest of the week:
Tonight: Youth at the new property. Hollaaa
Thursday: Tropicana Practice after work
Friday: Ladies night
Saturday: Helping with the homegoing Service for Steve DiGioia
Sunday: Lots.

I'm really going to do it this time.

I keep starting to blog, then crap out after the first two paragraphs.
I will do this.

Ok... Sooo... I had a baby. Hailey Eden. She'll be 3 months old on the 12th. I cannot believe it.

The church has FINALLY moved to ROSEVILLE(All but the offices.)!!! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!!!
O.k., but surrriously...
It's absolutely beautiful.
(and slightly cramped)
But I can't believe IT'S REALLY HAPPENED!!!
Love love love...
Lurve...O.k.

Life is crazy right now. I kind of love it.
Everything is changing... But that's good.

O.k... I'm done.
Peace Out.
