Shakey Shakey Shakey

I'm definitely in need of some protein this morning.
I've had... 1 large bowl of Kix, and a cup of strawberries.
And now, my hands are shaking baaad.
I haven't even had my 8oz of coffee!!!!

Lately, I've been trying to do better by Leila as far as meals go (and for Little Girl too!)
I went to Trader Joe's on Tuesday to get the pizza crust for our pizzas at Bliss which were sooooo yummy! I'm doing that again ASAP.

Random.
Hungry.
Shakey.
Ugh.

Check check check.

It takes about 2 seconds for God to give me a smack in the face, so I realize how good I truely have it.

Thanks God.

Parenthood + Being pregnant

Good grief.
Sitting here on my couch, watching Dr. Oz,while my dear, sweet Leila screams bloody murder.
This has been going on for...ohh... about an hour.

In the process, this little girl in me is pushing her way to the front of my belly (not my bladder for once) and it's so sweet. I love being able to feel her with my hand, as creepy as that sounds.
We saw HER for the first time on Wednesday. She looks much more like me than Leila. Therefore, my theory is, she'll have D's coloring. We'll see. Two little red heads would be sweet, but I'd love a little dark haired girl.

Anyway... I should probably be cleaning, not blogging.
Goodbye!

P.S.
Disneyland minus Leila in...33 days!

Life goes on...

I'm in much higher spirits today.
Don't get me wrong, I spoke to my worker (after calling her again), and she's definitely a psycho hose beast, but I've got high hopes now.
(High apple pie in the sky hopes)

My mom is going to help me find a new Dr. tomorrow. I still get to have my ultrasound on Wednesday (exactly one week from today!)and I'm very excited about that.

That is all.

The countdown comes to a halt.

I'm very frustrated with my Medi-Cal worker right now.

Went to the Dr.'s office yesterday to have a prenatal visit, and low, they won't see me because my worker screwed something up.
Will my worker call me back to fix it?
No.
I've got an ultrasound appointment next Wednesday which is extremely important for two reasons:
1. It's our first ultrasound. We haven't seen the baby yet, and I'd really like to!
2. We're supposed to find out the sex of the baby. Which would be nice for naming, and planning purposes.
In addition to all this, the state shorted us a TON of money on our refund. Not cool, since we were depending on it.

Stress stress stress.
I know God is in control. Either way, its stressful.

On our way into week 13...

Yeah... This is going to be all about the joys of pregnancy! Brace yourselves.

As the soon-to-be "Mother of two", I've been thinking a lot about our future as a family.
Leila will be going into preschool shortly after this baby is born (praise God!), but what to do with the n00b? I'll be out of work for a few months...then... off to day care? Most likely. Finding affordable, trustworthy daycare is hard! (AND expensive! Both factors of why Leila isn't currently in daycare...) We've got a dear friend who runs a daycare from her home, but she's been full up the last 6 months or so. Here's to hoping there will be an opening in the future!

Moving on.. I'm excited to find out whether this one is a boy or girl. They both have the equal amount of pros and cons, either way, as long as its healthy, we're cool. I've got a few names thought up, but I've only share the name we have for a boy. I think I'll keep the girl names on lockdown till we know for sure.

My two major food aversions (yogurt & cream cheese) seem to have come to an end (YAY!). But last night, we ordered Papa John's pizza, and I had to force myself to eat it. The crust was fine, it was everything BUT the crust that grossed me out. That's depressing. I don't think its all pizza, just last nights.

Keeping our fingers crossed!

Hmm...

It's pretty early for this, but I noticed something...
Why, when people ask for prayer for a loved one, do others feel its necessary to say "We're praying for so and so, and they are a Christian." Does that really need to be stated? If they weren't, couldn't you just add "We're also praying for salvation..."? Is that really necessary? Because overall, it doesn't matter if they're saved or not, we should pray for them anyway. The only reason that would be necessary is to direct how to pray.

Yarrrr!
Good Mornin' Maties :)
